Things I'm really tired of hearing

If you see me, and want to continue being my friend, please avoid saying any of the following:
"Wow, any day now!"
"Are you having twins??"
"You're not going to make it until August, no way!"
"You look way bigger than last time you were pregnant!"
"Are you sure your due date is right?"
Thanks.
Love,
me

31 + 3

I'm officially at the point in my pregnancy to where I have gained a ton of weight but am not so pregnant that I'm beyond caring :( This is the roughest part, it doesn't seem to matter whether I go to the gym, eat healthy or poor, the pounds just keep packing on. And, I'm starving all the time. Luckily for me, my midwife instituted a no-weighing policy (well, she looks at the scale but I'm not allowed to). This has been somewhat helpful.

I went for an ultrasound 2 weeks ago to double check if the baby was still breech, since we THOUGHT he was head down but wanted some confirmation. He is indeed head down, and also is measuring 2 weeks ahead. The tech estimated him at 4 pounds already. I know measurements can be off, and my midwife is trying to emphasize that. In the past week, my sister in law has had a 6 lb 2 oz baby and my friend had a 10 lb 1 oz baby. It's miraculous the amount of variation that can happen!! Meanwhile, due to the measuring ahead, Jason has guessed the actual birthday as July 28, 3 weeks ahead of schedule!!! Not only is it slightly nervewracking to think we're only weeks away, the 28th is also my friend's due date- my friend who sees the same midwife as me but is delivering in a different place. That could be big trouble.

We have started to prepare the baby's room, though he still doesn't have a name. For some reason, there's no names that really sound right to me, and the two I could see working are at the bottom of Jason's list. Nathan was named by 14 or 15 weeks, so I'm feeling pretty stressed/guilty about this.

I will try to be better about posting over the next few weeks, as we finish preparations and hopefully come up with a name!
